Abstract
This capstone explores the concept and movement of healing justice through seeking to provide a comprehensive review of literature to outline a framework of healing justice. From here the concept of Heartwork is introduced as an actionable form of healing justice and what specifically such practice entails. Finally the capstone provides an overview of the frontiers of Heartwork and HJ such as in the K-12 educational system, police officer training, and in public and social service work (with particular paid to how heartwork could be used in teacher training for equity and social justice) to create policies and practices that envision radical liberation and work toward the dismantling of structural violence for community well-being.
