Abstract
Through analysis of secondary and primary data collection methods, a program evaluation has been completed on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Department at the Pingry School in New Jersey. This capstone project aims to connect the main theoretical framework of a sense of community and empowerment theory to data and conversations obtained from stakeholders in the Pingry School community, including students, faculty, and staff, in hopes of gaining insight on how the DEIB department supports and implements current initiatives that promote a sense of belonging through social connectedness within the community.
